• The biometric passport photo size must be 50 mm x 60 mm (As 2*2' is commonly used in the USA, the said dimension is also acceptable).

• The photo must show your face completely, and your hair must not cover your face.

• Sharpness and contrast must be correctly adjusted. It should not make your face look blurry, and the focus should be completely on your face.

• The head should not be tilted forward or turned to any side, the photo should be taken with a neutral facial expression with closed lips.

• Lighting is important as your face must be seen completely. It should not be too bright or too dark.

• The background of your photo should be patternless and have a WHITE BACKGROUND.

• Your photo should be taken with a high image quality camera and printed on quality paper. A damaged, wrinkled and creased photo is not accepted.

• Your eyes should be completely focused on the camera and should not be closed.

• Accessories such as glasses, earrings, hats should not be used. Clothing/accessories that will prevent your face from being seen should not be used.

• Your photo must not be older than 6 months.

• The above rules also apply to children and babies as well.
