Mr. Sinan Kuzum was born in 1980 in Ankara. He graduated from International Relations Department at Ankara University and holds a master's degree from Middle East Technical University (Ankara) International Relations program.

He joined the Foreign Service in 2005 and posted to Sana’a, Yemen in 2008. Later on, he worked at the Turkish Embassy in Athens, Greece in the years of 2010-2013.

Back in Ankara, he worked at the Maritime Department and the Private Office of the Foreign Minister and appointed as a political counselor at the Turkish Embassy in London (2015-2019).

Mr. Kuzum was the Deputy Chief of Cabinet of the Foreign Minister between August 2019 and December 2021 and as of December 15,2021, he has assumed his duties as the Consul-General in Los Angeles.

He is married and has two children.
